Not sure if you noticed how quick we are to dish out compliments to others, but seldom offer them up to ourselves.
Today, I want you to admire you. I give you permission to compliment yourself as much as you want. Just don't dab when gloating or I'll have to smack you.
Here's a letter I discovered while attending an event for Girl Scouts with my daughter, Lilyan. It was used during a self-building exercise, the troop participated in.

A time when you were really brave was: Every time I started a new school. I attended seven different schools throughout my childhood. (We moved around a lot. Not because my parents were hippies and blew up a chemical building out of protest, forcing us to live our lives on the run; they simply got divorced and had a hard time figuring things out for themselves - this could actually turn into a book rather than a letter).
Whenever you feel angry, hurt, or confused, I want you to remember: God is with you, you have the power to make things better.
